DESIGN TIPS and TRICKS
How to design a one-of-a-kind personalized piece for yourself or a loved one
Things to consider when choosing your jewellery
- Do they tend to wear chunkier or daintier jewellery?
- The chunkiest chain is the FISHTAIL chain, then the BALL chain, then the CURB chain and then the PAPERCLIP chain
- Are they more likely to wear a necklace, a bracelet or ring?
- Do they have their ears pierced?
Things to consider when choosing your charms
- Whether it is for yourself or for a loved one, things you can incorporate to personalize your piece include:
- Favorite colour, their initial or horoscope sign, birth stone
- Children, grand children or pets
- Hobbies and interests
- Religious faith
How to make your piece look aesthetic
Keep in mind that this is your chance to be creative and there is no right or wrong, but here are some guidelines that you can follow:
- Odd numbers of charms work best on a necklace (5-7)
- The largest charm should be in the center of a necklace
- If you have a charm with a colour, try to repeat that colour with another charm somewhere else on your piece.
- See the description within each charm for recommendations on compatibility with chain selection
